I am writing this letter to thank all
of you for everything!
On my first visit to your office your
staff welcomed me in for a consultation.
You, too, were kind enough to meet with
me even though I had no scheduled appointment
that day.
Severely nearsighted (Left-11.50 and
Right-10.50), I had been turned away
by other doctors. Your being one of
the elite few to possess the Intralasik,
allowed me to be a candidate for the
surgery. I will be forever grateful
for finding you that day.
I was so anxious on surgery day, but
Tim, Carrie, Tamra, and countless others,
put me at ease. They were both professional
and compassionate. The procedure was
over so quickly and was absolutely painless
- I wondered why I had waited so long
to do it!
The day after my surgery, I left your
office with 20/30 vision. No contacts.
No eyeglasses. To understand a negative
11.50 is to truly appreciate what a
gift you've given me. And I know now
that the reason I waited so long for
LASIK, was because I had not yet found
Dr. Siems.
Yours is a first class operation, and
far exceeded my expectations of ever
having great vision without contacts.
In the future, I will simply insist

Dear Dr. Siems and staff,
I would like to start by thanking you
and each and every one of your staff
for allowing me to see clearly once
again.
For 10 years I have been dreaming of
correcting my eyes, I believe back then
the procedure for correction was only
PRK. It was inconvenient to wear glasses
and it was a curse to wear contacts.
I decided that once I reach the recommended
age, I was going to do Lasik.
When I read your statistics at the Laser
Vision Institute, I decided that I only
wanted you to correct my eyes. Unfortunately,
The Laser Vision Institute did not have
the technology to correct my eyes. But
you assured me that soon enough there
would be an alternative technology.
Every two months you called me personally,
assuring me that any day soon.... When
you called to notify me that you were
starting your own practice with your
advanced laser, I was glad and happy
that I waited 6 months. Not only was
I relieved, but I was impressed that
you personally called me and not any
of your assistants.
The procedure was smooth and painless.
My vision is fabulous, despite the size
of my pupils measuring 10mm. I was told
by many Doctors, who refused to correct
my eyes that my pupils are too large
to correct. Again despite what they
said, you still felt assured that it
can be done with your Bausch & Lomb
Technolas Laser. And it has been done
and I see clearly!
Only those who have been through the
procedure will really know how extraordinary
it is to see clearly once again and
how wonderful it is not to deal with
contacts. I am 20 years old, and being
able to party, not worrying about itching
and foggy contacts, is priceless!
At this time I also want to mention
to you that you have the most beautiful
and sophisticated medical office that
I have ever seen. Thanks once again
and please thank everyone for me including
your wonderful receptionist whom I was
happy you recruited from the Laser Vision
Institute.

The development of laser eye surgery
has been of great interest to me over
the last few years. A personal goal
was to take advantage of the process
when it finally reached my comfort level.
