1. Dr. Siems is the physicians' Lasik
surgeon of choice. Dr. Siems has
performed Lasik eye surgery on dozens
of fellow doctors; including Neurosurgeons,
Transplant surgeons, Cardiologists,
Orthopedic surgeons, and other Ophthalmologists.
Physicians are discriminating patients
who only put their trust in the best.
Go to the Lasik surgeon who other doctor's
put their trust in - Dr. Siems.
2. Experience
|
|
There is no substitute for experience.
Dr. Siems is one of the most experienced
Lasik surgeons in the U.S. He
has performed over 45,000 Lasik
procedures. He has extensive experience
with IntraLasik, conventional
Lasik, Lasek and PRK with or without
Mitomycin-C. |
3. Intralase - Intralase represents
the "bladeless" approach to
Lasik. Instead of relying on a blade
to create the Lasik flap, the Intralase
method uses a cool laser beam to create
the flap. The results are a safer more
accurate procedure. Dr. Siems was the
first surgeon in Nevada and one of the
first five surgeons in the U.S. to be
selected by the company to integrate
this new technology into his practice.
He has the latest 60 KHz Intralase laser
at each of his offices.
4. Leadership in the field of refractive
surgery
|
|
Dr. Siems is the co-author
of a new book published on the
subject of presbyopia. The book
is entitled Presbyopia Surgery
- Pearls and Pitfalls. Dr. Siems
has delivered over 25 talks at
major Ophthalmologic conferences
around the world. He has served
as an invited international lecturer
in South Africa, Italy and Armenia. |
The Siems Advanced Lasik Center was
recently selected by Bausch & Lomb
to be one of four domestic training
centers. This means that Ophthalmologists
from around the world will come to Siems
Advance Lasik to be trained in the latest
Lasik procedures.
5. The Bausch & Lomb Technolas
z100 - The Siems Advanced Lasik
Center has been chosen as one of the
first sites in the nation to introduce
this newest laser. This laser is proving
to be faster and more accurate than
its predecessors.
6. Multiple On-Site Laser Technologies
- The majority of Lasik Centers limit
their technology to one type of laser.
Dr. Siems has committed himself to providing
his patients with the benefit of multiple
types of Lasik lasers. Each type of
Lasik laser has inherent strengths and
weaknesses. With multiple lasers available,
the doctor can individualize each patient's
surgery by using the laser most suited
for their given refractive error. The
lasers include: Technolas z100, VISX
S4 with the latest iris recognition,
and LadarVision by Alcon. Custom treatment
is available with each of these lasers.
7. Dr. Siems attracts patients from
around the world - representative
countries include: England, Italy, Greece,
France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Philippines,
Mexico, Canada, Republic of Czech, South
Africa, and Sudan.
These representative patients actually
reside in these countries and flew in
to have Lasik surgery by Dr. Siems.
8. Service - Siems Advanced Lasik
Centers are committed to unparalleled
service. Surgical appointments are available
6 days a week (including Saturdays and
evenings). Every effort is made to accommodate
our patients' busy schedules. Transportation
is available upon request on the date
of surgery (Limousine service at selected
locations). Multiple low cost financing
options are provided. Trained Lasik
counselors guide and assist our valued
patients throughout this process. These
are just a few examples of the services
provided by our centers.
9. Many Lasik centers limit their "refractive
surgery" services to Lasik.
Although Lasik can transform the visual
world for most patients, it may not
be appropriate in certain situations.
Due to this, Dr. Siems offers a full
array of refractive surgical techniques.
In addition to Lasik, Dr. Siems and
his medical staff are skilled and experienced
in Intacs, Implantable Contact Lenses
(ICL), Refractive Lens Extraction with
the ReStor lens and Crystalens, and
Conductive Keratoplasty. Dr. Siems was
selected as an investigator for the
ICL Hyperopic FDA trial.
10. Dr. Siems' personality -
this one you will simply have to come
in and experience it for yourself.
